Mar 24, 2024

Samuhika Satyanarayana vratam is performed on the evening of every Pournami. Devotees are encouraged to fast the entire day and participate in the vratham. The Lord in this form is considered an embodiment of truth. Although there is no fixed day to perform Satyanarayan Puja but doing it during Purnima or Pournami is considered highly auspicious. It is believed that performing Satyanarayana Vrata in Karthika Month would bring them prosperity in multitude and help them to free themselves from all the Papas and finally attain Moksha. Purnima, also known as Full Moon, is an auspicious day in Hindu religion dedicated to worshiping Lord Vishnu. People observe fasts and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu, particularly in the form of Satyanarayan. Fasting on Full Moon day is believed to relieve mental stress, anxiety, and depression.
